We are thrilled to announce a new era for Transform with the exciting appointment of not one, but two dynamic leaders as Co-CEOs! As of April this year, we are welcoming Shoba Ram and Jane Slater as they take on the role of CEO together.

Both Shoba and Jane are committed to making safer drug laws a reality and have an unwavering drive for change. This new co-leadership model reflects our belief in collaboration and will undoubtedly allow us to build on our success as a charity.

Introducing Shoba Ram:

We are thrilled to see Shoba join us at Transform. A dynamic and ethical leader in the drugs field, shaped by over two decades of working with those most affected by drug policy across communities, healthcare systems and in criminal justice services. Shoba has a profound commitment to addressing the harm, discrimination and oppression associated with failed drug policy which she has demonstrated across a vast portfolio of innovative research and practice.

Re-introducing Jane Slater:

We are excited to see Jane Slater begin this new position after her highly successful tenure as Deputy CEO of Transform over recent years. Jane first began working at Transform 17 years ago and has been a core team member ever since. In particular, Jane established and has managed our Anyone’s Child campaign that amplifies the voices of those who have been directly impacted by drug policy failures.
